My husband bought another GSP and immediately added him to the tank that our other one is in. I told him that he should have been quarantined for a while to make sure he was not sick and pass something on. Now I think he has parasites - poo is white and stringy looking. Should I remove him to a hospital tank for treatment?

No, that would leave your original puffer contaminated, and he would give them right back to the new puffer after he was treated. Treat the whole tank.
