Mbu snails

Can a mbu puffer eat african land snails? they are kept in a clean tank with lettuce to eat, nothing from the outside world introduced.

I don't see why not. You're a lucky person to be able to get GALs, they're very low in availability.

Easy to find in the UK, plenty on sale and they breed really well so loads aroound. I couldn't feed one to my fish though as I bought my nephew one for a pet, he's fascinated by it (and it is huge now at nearly 2 years old!) - they are pets not food

i usually treat bubba to apple snail every few weeks about 15-20 go in his tank he will fish them out the cubby holes. I get them dirt cheap mind. GAL's are easy to get in the UK and i guess will be fine to use as they breed very well. Sometimes ill use garden snails also. quarintine them feed them carrot then when there poo comes out orange i know whats gone in. Quick few hours in water and in they go

Sweet, they will be great food for my mbu, yeah my cousin has tons of them, he was the one that thought of the idea.

Florida should have let some french people in to eat all the snails, didnt realise they were a problem!

A few escaped, and began spreading, defoliating larger and larger areas. Eventually a massive and expensive snail genocide eliminated the growing colony, but not before they did enough damage that they were banned evermore.
