After a week away from my fishes my irrubesco male found his way to the floor rip
Then I have 3 females left in that tank.. And was thinking about moving them in 240l tank with the salivators,tigerbarbs and corys.
Its a much better and nicer tank I think, but I'm very concerned that the harmony will crack...
I also miss having my very social irrubescos in the livingroom (they are now in the guestroom) where I spend most of my time.

What do you think?? Is it smart?
The salivator male is not aggressive at all, but I'm not sure how he will react if he gets 3 more females... :S

With my experiece with Jack, I wouldn't risk it. Remember what happened when you bought his room mates. I know your salivator male is mild tempered, but you never know what will happen when you add a new species of puffers. And you don't know how the salivator female will react either. Or the irrubesco females. There's a lot of puffers in there that can do a lot of damage together or one by one.

Will miss him so much!!

Definitely! I know the owner very well.

The dry season in southeast asia lasts through october, and dry season is the best time to catch fish and therefore export them to your LFS. Now is the time when you should be seeing them in stores. However, if you wait too long, you may not be able to find any until spring.

I love irrubesco they are active interesting puffer like DP's and im also looking to buy more but thanks to okieMavis now i know why i cant find them anymore Irrubesco are sesonal thing.

The dry season is the best time when fish are wild caught, as it's easier to do when the water's lower. It *ends* in October, which means now is the time you should be finding fish for sale.
