hey guys, took a trip to the local Petco, I hate going there because they keep their fish in such horrible conditions but had to go because the pooches love a certain biscuit that they sell, anyways, i had to look at the fish and they had a dogface puffer he was so cute but i think he needed something to wear his teeth down, i felt so bad, now im kinda thinking of bringing him home but i wouldnt no how to wear his teeth down other than the obvious, he needs it asap...

I woouldn't support a shop that keeps their pets so poorly. They'll just go & buy another puffer to mistreat. Can't you find the bisciuts somewhere else?

Today I actually found a small mom and pop store that will order in the biscuits, i just feel really bad for the puffer and if i could save him i will. Just dont know how to shorten his teeth other than the shellfish way, but i guess ill give that a go necause i dont think he will be eating there!

You can trim them by sedating the puffer and using cuticle clippers. There's an article in the library on teeth-trimming.
