I have a GSp and want to add some sort of shark, like a bala shark. Are there any small sharks that I can purchase that would get along with him?

If I'm correct, Bala Sharks are freashwater? If so, then bad idea. Your GSP will eventually need high brackish, or a saltwater tank, and a freshwater fish would not be able to tolerate that.

puffers are unpredictable and the green spot happens to be a particularly unstable its best to be alone as far as brackish sharks i dont know check out fish base

As for your other post, it is mandatory you get a bigger tank. A 10 gal, it not nearly big enough for the puffer alone, let alone a bala shark also.

Yes, Balas are freshwater, and need a much larger tank than a ten gallon if that's what you intend on putting them in.

Balas are also schooling fish.

im sure they want more then three though like clown loaches when you hit about 6 there realy happy

Minimum of 6 is considered a school.

How many are needed for a shoal then?

Okay people, I said "like" a Bala, I already knew it's a freshwater. And yes, I also knew that Gsp's live in Brackish tanks -have that. I was just wondering what type of shark would go well, but I did my own research and found out that Columbian shark would do well with him.

See, when you say the word "shark" it's really is just a word describing the fish's similarity to a real shark. Grey, long & slender. Personally, I don't think GSPs & Columbian sharks belong in the same tank with puffers. The CS is a skittish, fast swimmer who prefers to live in a school. This means 6 or more. They can also attain the length of 18". Immagine a 6", round helicopter-like swimmer, trying to get his full of eats, with a school of these out-competing them!

kind of off topic, but how well would SAP's do with dwarf or dainty cory's?

Not all puffers are predictable but they should be ok.
