Does anyone have bumblebee gobies with their f8's? How are they together?

I've done it, they seem to fare very well together, as long as your figure 8's have a good temperment and don't chase anything that's small enough to fit in their mouth.

I've had over a half dozen BBGs in my tank & ended up with 1.

hmm, I want to get a few BBG's for my tank but not sure b/c my puffer chases my whussy molly. He needs fast moving tank mates.

I have one F8 with 8 bumblebee gobies (and now 5 mollies too) in a 44 gallon corner tank. They all pretty much ignore each other. The F8 investigated the new fish at first, but now he just stays away from them.

I'd go for a larger goby, like a knight goby, if I were you. I've kept them with no problems with my pair of F8s for over 6 months. All three accounted for still

BBGs...I'm not so sure. People have tried it, with varying success. It's a risk putting tankmates with most puffers.

Yes, I keep both. I keep BBGs in my freshwater tank (they're amphidromous, so calling them 'brackish' is incorrect; they'll tolerate brackish water and may do well in it, but keeping them in brackish conditions permanently is not a true simulation of their natural conditions). I keep knight gobies, which are brackish AFAIK, in with my F8s. I have a trio of BBGs in my 58G FW tank and they've been there and thriving for over two years, and I have a trio of knight gobies in my 53G Brackish tank and they've been there for ~6 months. Seem to be doing well. They're nearly as greedy as my puffers though...!
