I've posted this on aquarium central but havent gotten much help

I've got a blue ram that I was treating for ich using the salt heat method. she developed a bad fungal infection secondarily which I attempted to treat with melafix and primafix. after a week with no improvement I went to Maroxy and have been treating with this for several days. Its still just as fuzzy as ever. I'm not really sure what to do next.

Any ideas? columnaris possibly?

Read this and answer, and we'll work from there. It might not be as simple as a fungal infection.

alright, here is the info requested:

Tank Specs
-20 gallon
-gravel substrate w/ driftwood and live plants
-hagen hood with 30 watts of spiral compact fluorescent lights
-AC50 filter with foam and carbon
-50 (?) watt heater?

Inhabitants:
-2 wild blue rams
-1 lyre tail molly
-10 cardinal tetras
-ramshorn snails

Water Parameters:
-Ammonia: 0.0 ppm
-NitrIte: 0.2 ppm
-NitrAte: 5 ppm
-pH: not tested regularily, shows 6.5 out of the tap
-Temp: 30C
-Note: water contains 2 tsp / gallon salt for treating Ich. NitrIte is likely bleeding out of three hagen fertilizer spikes I've got in there for the plants

Feeding and Maintaince:
-Fed twice a day. Omega one flakes
-25-50% water change and gravel vaccuum every other week
-dosing with Flourish, Flourish excel, Flourish Nitrogen, KH2PO4 for the plants

-The only things that I've changed recently, ie before introducing the rams was to start dosing flourish nitrogen and burying the Hagen plant spikes in the substrate.

-Aquarium has been running for about 2 years. Had a crash of some kind about 3 months ago but havent lost any fish since it stabalized again.

That looks more like columnarus to me.

how can you tell?
