i bought a F8 puffer recently at my LFS. I put it in a 55gal. All its been doing is swimming in the back right corner going up, and down all day, occasionally going to the left and swimming back, (always at top) is something wrong? The LFS said krill is a great diet so thats what ive been feeing it. Also they bagged up some snails, ive heard it's supposed to wear down there "beak" so it dosnt get to big, this is true right? When we took out the snails there shells were all bitten and picies were missing.

any help on the questions would be appreciated, thx :D

Certainly sounds like it has an appetite! :D What other fish are in there? How heavily decorated is the tank?

i've got a freshwater toad fish, feeder fish, african knife fish (moving to a bigger tank), and a F8 (Spot). I've got a piece of drift wood in the middle, a little cave rock thing, and a stack a rocks. I've got sand as a substrate so i hae no plants  What plants would be good in sand? O also i noticed a little brown blotch under Spot's lower jaw, is (s)he alright?

thx

when Spot eats his stomach swells up. the krill dried, and a little bigger than (s)he is. Is spot trying to look bigger bu puffing up, or is (s)he just fat.
