I just did a test for nitrites and nitrates for my tank. I have no fish in it right now, and the ammonia is 0. Here is a picture of each test, I don't know how to read these colours, the last three look like they can be the result. Help!

I'm assuming this is for a FW tank?
Your nitrite is way to high. You want it to be zero, which would be clear.
Your nitrate is possibly a little high, but you shouldn't worry to much about that.

My guess is 50 for the nitrate & .8 for nitrite. Are you cycling the tank now?

Yeah this must be cycling and I agree with Pufferpunk's numbers if it is cycling then you will soon be able to do a big water change and start stocking the tank
