The UK bit

It's looking like I'll probably be buying my new set-up at the end of July - either a 130l (35 US gal) or a 180 (48 US gal) depending on how I'm feeling on the day :) So I'm think it probably won't be till September before I can get the congo, but if anyone in the UK has any good recommendations for miurus stockists I'd appreciate knowing early, especially as I'll be looking for the red or orange versions :)

The general bit

Also, I'm still kinda torn between a congo and an arrowhead....most definitely leaning towards the congo, but are there any specific concerns for either of them that could push my decision one way or the other?

Over the next few months I'll probably be asking an absolute ton about congos (or arrowheads if I do go that route), so is there anyone here who's particularly knowledgable on congos and who'd be willing to put up with frequent question-answering?

Thanks muchly :D

if you're pretty pally with the guys at your local maidenhead, I'm sure they would do there best to get a few in, a lot of fresh/brackish puffers seem to be seasonal though, the only puffers I have seen lately are dwarf and Amazon, a few months back, all I could see were GSPs and F8s, have a word with them, they should at least be able to point you in the right direction :)

Thanks Jay :) Haven't managed to have a word with Maidenhead yet, but I have contacted another supplier who has asked me what sort of cost I'm looking for. That's stumped me a bit - any ideas on a rough retail price for the congo?

£20- 30 for a good red miurus probably slightly less for an orange one and £10 - 15 for a brown.

Still have one juvenile suvatti for sale and a breeding pair going very cheap!!

Thanks Rocker :D - must admit I'm still thinking of the suvatti as an option. Any recommendations of people I should contact about the congo?
