feeding puffers ?

hi i know i have only had my puffer a couple of days but was wondering because he was fed mostly pellets and not much else, he might not take to different food, im worried his teeth will get long and he doesn't seem to eat the snails, spits out the krill and muscle, he only eats the blood worm which is also frozen so its not because there not alive, should i keep offering muscle or krill as i know its good to feed a varied diet or just feed him a cube of bloodworm every night, one good thing is he ignores the other fish completely he just sits in the top corner lurking for food he doesn't pace up and down any more

but he does seem to stick to one corner, now im wondering weather to leave the gourami in there (unless a problem occurs) one of the gourami drifts in the bubbles and ends up right next to him and he just looks at it, any way i will keep trying the snails but what about other food?

Try soaking food in garlic before feeding it to him, garlic is a natural stimulant and the fish will go crazy for it.

How do you concoct a garlic solution? Just get some garlic, throw it in tank water until it smells funky then you're good? Never heard of that before.

I use a garlic press, generates lots of fine bits and juice.
