I was wondering where a good place is online to order crayfish or any other shelled critters for my fahaka. My lfs's in the area don't carry them and neither do the bait shops. I was just curious where you guys get your feeders. Thanks

Yes I would like to know the same, as around my house I can't find them. My puffers don't really eat snails.

Riddle:
Think outside of the box a little bit... dog's like meat, but you can't usually buy steak in a pet store, so you get it at a_________________ store. Puffers like crustaceans but sometimes you can't them get at a pet store you get them at a _____________ store.

Jared, thanks for the reply. I get where you were going with the "riddle" but like I said there are no stores around me that sell them, bait shops, grocery or any other. Thanks anyway though.

Your grocery stores don't have a seafood section with all sorts of goodies?

They do but nothing like live crayfish. What else would you suggest? I can get shrimp no problem but that wont keep his break down. I need some "crunchy" foods for him. Snails as you know dont really last or fill him up. Thanks again.

Shrimp, oyster, crab legs, mussells, squid, clam, etc--all are good & found in your grocery store.

I just ordered 100 Live Fiddler Crabs from this wildlife research company.

I will put them in a 30 gallon tank with some 6" thick sand for them to bury also.

I get my sea food at the grocery store and crayfish at the LFS. Ordering online, that I have found, you have to order pounds of them and that is not very convenient for some....unless you eat them too.

I'd say it would be better to fill the tank up only 1/2 way with water and slope the sand strongly, I think they do best when they can emerge from the water.
