Does any one elses fahaka hand feed, mine will only hand feed, i have to hold his food for him lol and if i even drop it he will watch it and wont touch it unless i pick it back up for him. Even some times if i am just on my way to work and i drop it in the tank he will leave it all day untill i come home and say hi to him and when i sit down he will then eat it only when i am in the room, lol i use to have a dog like that. hes coming up to about 5 inces now and is loving his new 500 litre home :)

Yeah I hand feed mine king prawns, I tease her with them so she works a little but I drop in the last 3/4 inch so I can keep my fingers! She will also take food off a spoon.
But do not trust your fish if you want to keep all your fingers.

ps my fahaka is 7-8 inch

I hand-feed my Abei puffer snails (I let them attack to my palm, put in my hand, then he comes and eats them), but he doesn't get much bigger than he is now (~3 inches). He eats anything that goes into the water, basically, except the Ghost Shrimp that he can't really see, haha!

Yep. Mine loves to hand feed. Initially it was the only way he would eat like yours but now he is generally on his own. Cool isn't it? lol

Yeah it is very cool, i dont worrie about being bit by him because he takes his time and is ever so good at eating around my fingers slowly.

I did when he was smaller but now I do not even dare stick my hand in there as he will bite me I am sure. :D He is very "determined".

I hand feed Clarkson (my Fahaka), he is only about 5" so far but very gentle when I feed mussel or prawn. My wife won't though, she is scared of being bitten

My Fahaka is still hand feeding after all this time, I hope he still does when he is fully grown :)
