Broken beak

One of my gsps has cracked the right half of his upper beak. It is high enough up I can't see it past his mouth.

Are his teeth going to grow uneven? Is there something I can or should do to help before he starts starving?

Right now hes still eating, but I'm worried.

Keep an eye on the opposed plate, which will tend to overgrow while the broken one is regrowing. Both may need a bit of dental attention - the unbroken opposing plate a bit of trimming for control of overgrowth, the broken one a bit of evening up if it is a jagged break.

What do you think he broke it on?

We had just given them some ghost shrimp a day earlier, I bet he missed and got a piece of gravel.
