Nice colour on him! If you use flash you can get a less blurry picture.

I just bought this camera and I have a love/hate relationship! When I use the flash it just washes out the color or you can see the flash on the tank. The camera is a new sony that has the picture stableiztaion and I'm new to this camera but I don't really like it hee hee! I hope to get some better pictures of him as he gets used to me maybe I will try taking pictures of him at feeding time .

Every puffer is different. Mine has Napoleon Sydrome...he thinks because he is small that he can boss the others around. Then when he gets caught he looks at me like he would never ever do something like that. It cracks me up.

Thank you everyone, he is doing really good and he is eating very well. I am thinking about feeding him some mussels but I don't know if he could eat them since his mouth is so small! He doesn't bother the hermit crabs or the shrimp in the tank, but if it is floating in the water its fair game! He is so fast I knew that puffers were fast but sometimes I think he is on speed because he is so fast that he is just a blur in the tank and since he is still young he looks really small in the tank. He always has that great color which is one reason I bought him. If I do feed him clams or mussels how should I feed him those? On a half shell or should I just break it a little and then give it to him? Also how long do I leave it in there if he doesn't eat it? I have never fed puffers anything but fishy food, but I put snails in there and he picks on them and gets the meat out of the shell and I have to find them and take them out, but the marine snails cost money and are really small so that he can eat them I'm not sure how he would act with something bigger then a finger nail.
