crayfish eating algae

so today i was feeding my puffers and the red crayfish i put in there to eat ( a few days before) seemed to be eating algae is that normal ( he is probably gonna leave if not eaten in the next couple of days ( there messy and if they get too big it might be to big and be a problem for my gobys

They will eat nearly anything when starving. They also often destroy plants in planted tanks for fun.

they pick at something full time. I'm sure he eats your pellets, then moves on to algae cause it's easy. nothing to worry about. he will however kill your gobys soon. that's also a nasty habit of theirs... catching and killing fish.

yeah on of my friends has a congo puffer so if he doesnt get eaten soon i know some one who gets a treat ( and some unofficial dentistry help)

im only giveing them a few days becouse my gobys rather fast and when disturbed tends to run even in the dead of night and when attack on going in the cage my puffers took off its claws ( they like them more then the rest) and it seems afriad of anything moveing (its a little guy maybe jsut larger then an inch

so it has no claws? I had a half inch crayfish kill a convict cychlid just over an inch long. they are devlish little critters.

it has no claws and yeah there demons but this morning my was being persued around the tank by my puffers i know he lost a few legs and a chunk of his tail this might be the end for him

yeah no matter how mean crayfish might be my puffers will cut them down to size

dang thing at some of my lace rock ( i noticed when i was cleanign my tank)
