im a university student and just got a buffer in a 15 g tank...
its undecored right now and he/she is just swimming around....but in the last few days i've noticed a hole in lower belly of the fish....its pretty noticeable....and im sure it wasn't there b4....
does my puffer have internal parasites eating its flesh or some thing like that?

plz help...really worried...this fish is suppose to remind me of a friend who has past on....

•What kind of Puffer?

•Is it in fresh, brackish, or saltwater?

•What are your tank parameters…
PH? Ammonia? Nitrite? Nitrates? Temperature?

•What are you feeding and how often?

•What is your water change schedule?

•Have you made any changes in the tank recently?

•How long has the tank been set up?

•How was the tank cycled?

Is the hole near the base of the anal fin? My guess is you're probably looking at its, um, anus.
