I just added a 2 to 2.5 inch black sailfin molly and a 1.5 female black molly with my 1 to 1.5 inch gsp. Dont worry I did a big water change changed the setup and added all of the fish at once to avoid territorialism.

Well the problem is the big sailfin is chasing my gsp around. My GSP will get close to him and then the sailfin will chase him for about 2 minutes. My GSP is very healthy and zips away and the sailfin takes about 10 seconds to realise the GSP is behind him now and then continues the chase.

I have a 55 gallon so there is waaaay more than enough room for these little guys. Is this common? The female stays to herself but the male is just a jerk.

I tried a molly with Shakespeare once, it followed him around like a little dog, it was driving him NUTS and had to be moved to a community tank.

I had a molly with Chomper for like an hour.... I had to remove the molly because it was harrassing poor Chomps.
