red eye not eating (possibly)

so i have never seen my new red eye eat hes been with me about a week now and i have noticed he has a bit of a belly sometimes but never seen him eat any ways to see if he is eating?

so i feed him today and he ate right in front of me ( i was looking but couldn't find my forceps ) but he doesnt eat like my other puffers ( inhaling a large amount while there belly happly swells then abruptly swimming away )

When I had a red eye, I hardly ever saw him eat, until I added a friend for him, then the pressure was on to get to the food before the other one ate it all, but previous to that, he'd come and have a nosey, then swim off and with until I was asleep before munching the lot, I'd wake up to find a fat little puffer smiling at me, I knew he was eating so it never used to bother me.

yeah but i tend to freak out becouse i worry a little to much aobut my fish ( i used to use alot of fish when i started out and i hated it )
