My Puffers: I have had my first puffer for about 2-3 weeks now and her name is Mrs. Puff, i just bought another puffer about 5 days ago and his name is Mr. Puff. They are awsome fish and they look great!! Mr. Puff is more curious and loves to see me. Mrs. Puff is very shy but im working with her so hopefully she will become more open.

This tread started back at the beginning, and is still current and in use. There cannot be many that old still running regularly, are there? - 5 years is a long time on the web.

i found the site on google a while ago... sometimes, id just go to the library and drool over some of my favorites... wishing i could have one... just one... but never could find any of my dream puffs... then i found Kukah, my fahaka on craigslist, and IMMEDIATELY came here... what got me hooked was how everyone helped me out when i had a tank cycling issue when i first got him  saved his little fishy life

Well, I used to visit the old forum back in the day (the one on proboards), and during that time I started the DP site/forum with help and contributions from members on that site (PP, RTR, LinearChaos, etc.). I also registered the domain name for thepufferforum.com and had the url forward to the forum on proboards, just because I thought it was a better address than the proboards address, and would make it easier to refer people to the site (PP and others liked the idea as well). Later on, PP was getting ready to start up what is now the current forum, so we transferred the domain name from my name to hers. Once the new site/forum were up and running I registered here and have been a member ever since. Over at the DP forum we have always sent people over here for "other puffer" questions as well (and vice versa), and many of the same people are members of both sites.

I was referred to the site by a employee of my LFS after a conversation on why I was so happy to collect all of their snails :D
