How do I make my figure 8s eat crunchy food??

Hi, I have 2 figure eights and they are lovely! They eat bloodworm like there is no tomorrow, but won't touch anything crunchy? They are about an inch long - how do I convince them to eat something different? And what will they like? Snails they just suck out of their shells!

Try crushing the snails.

Mine love crickets, plankton, krill & shrimp tails.

Try using ghost shrimp, they may not be that crunchy but still a little bit helps. My figure 8 only bites the shell of the snails when (s)he can't get the rest of the meat outa the shell from the opening.

The more different foods you offer, the more experience they'll have and they'll learn techniques. They're still only small yet, but they'll get the hang of stuff.
