Growth rate on Tetraodon Baileyi

Does anyone with personal experience with Hairy puffers have an idea of their growth rate?

I've had a baileyi for a couple weeks now, he's about 2 inches at the moment. I'm feeding him copiously and keeping the water a little on the warmer side to stimulate growth.

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ian.

Until fairly recently Baileyis were unheard of in our hobby.
W know absolutly nothing about growth rate.
An educated guess would be somewhere beetween 1-2 cm a year.

Overfeeding a puffer can be bad for it's health, just like an overweight person. It is not an active swimmer, every 2-3 days is fine. As an adult, feed every 3-5 days.
