Baby Ceylons + Molly = ?

Is it possible to keep a Molly with my Ceylons? They're just babies, and there's lots of tank space. I know that puffers can be nippy and such, but I believe I've read that a couple people kept Mollies with their GSPs, yes?
Just curious!

I don't see why trying it out will be a problem. Just be prepared to move them if you notice aggression.

I've been wondering about keeping mollies with Milton, just because I want him to get used to other fish so when he is full marine someday he can have tankmates. so I'm curious too. I know people have mollies with F8s but I didn't know about gsps

I'll try to keep my F8 with black mollies together... Even though my first F8 ate all my BBGs!
Lets' see..

My molly was so curious about Shakespeare it followed him around like a trained dog, driving him NUTS. But there was no violence.

What kind of molly would you suggest? I know there are different kinds but I don't know anything about them... Also, would they do better if there were a couple of them or do they not mind being alone?

I keep mollies in with my SAP's and Red Eyes in the FW Tanks and in with my Figure 8's and GSP in the brackish tank
I have never noticed aggression against the mollies from the puffers but have the other way.. to the point where the mollies snatch the food out of the puffers mouth. Obviously molly fry don't last long but adults IMO are ok.

Is there a specific Mollie that will stay smaller?
ie, not half a foot long?!

Well, after reading a few posts here, I think I'm going to go pick up a few, quarantine them in my 20 gallon to see how they do, then add them in with my Ceylons. I imagine they'll get nipped off the start (like my Knight Goby), but the puffers will get used to them. How many would you suggest? I think it would be great if they bred in my tank, because the puffers could eat little delicious babies once in a while, and I could always scoop out some babies and try growing them out.
... I know, I'm twisted.

I have noticed mollies being jerks toward my puffs ( Figure Eights / Green Spotties ) so I don't allow their shenanigans in my tanks. Assault on a puffer is forbidden in my tanks and it often results in death. I don't kill them myself because I have trouble even feeding poor little ghosties to my puffs, but they need to eat man! So, I simply put the offender(s) into the tank with the meanest Puffers i have ( M. Cochinchinensis ). They teach the offender(s) a lesson in fin nipping alright.

that's hardcore, even for me. well no, I've done that too (not to kill them, but get put in place), so never mind.

Well I got Milton a little friend! Her name is Molly, lol, and she has survived for 24 hours now.
After about two minutes of her in the tank he finally saw her and swam up really close to her, i thought to myself omg molly is already going to get eaten! but he didn't touch her he just looked at her and then swam away. Molly has been chowing down on algae and neither of them pay much attention to eachother.
Hopefully this happy relationship lasts between them!

I hope too... mollies always help me with algae threads.
