I have my GSP Daisy, and I'd like anohter interesting "fish" to go in the tank with her. Obviously it would have to be brackish water compatible, but does anyone have any suggestions for something I can put in the tank that won't a)be eaten by Daisy or b)eat Daisy? hehe Fish fish are not what I'm looking for, I'm looking for something more interesting or different. Thanks!

What size is the tank? There's not a whole lot you can put in with a GSP while it's still in brackish water.
Just about the only thing would be another GSP or a Ceylon, which would require at least a 60gallon tank.
If you waited until you had your GSP in saltwater you get a lot more options for tank mates clown fish tend to work well (tomato and false Percula) damsels, and a few others I can't seem to think of off the top of my head.

While your puffer is still in brackish water (and can be for a long time I think) you have a few options. I have three bumble bee gobies, and they are small but they are interesting to watch and have funny goby faces. You could also get, if you can find one, a butterfly goby, which is actually closely related to a freshwater lionfish, and not a goby at all. They are a little shy, but really cool looking. Another good addition, and the last fish I am looking for, is a knight goby, aka highfin goby. These gobies look very similar to marine gobies and they say they will be more active in the middle of the water column than a lot of other gobies who are glued to the rocks and substrate. The problem with adding other fish to a puffer tank is that they should be smaller and not aggressive towards your puffer, and know to stay out of their way to avoid any possible squabbles. I wouldn't reccomned mollies or catfish because of their size and possibility of aggression. My bigger puffer is about two inches long and has not displayed any aggression towards anything yet, but with puffers it's always a gamble. The best thing to do would be to introduce fish with them when they are young so they can get used to them. All puffers are different of course, and I have had nothing but good luck with my two being very tolerant, so who knows. Also, if you research brackish water fish on google or something there a more options as well.

Green Spotted Puffers can be very aggressive, some are, some aren't as bad, it's really risky to add something docile in with a GSP. The other issue is they can't be housed together long term, so if indeed it somehow worked, and everyone got along fine, they'd still need to be separated later on. Unless you have a bunch of cycled tanks on hand, it's a very bad plan.

You could attempt to keep fiddler crabs in with her, but again, they'll become food sooner or later. I have a red clawed crab in with my GSP that's been in there forever though, it's just a matter of finding one smart enough to hide from your puffer.
