I know PP is quite adamant about fish not drinking water, so don't treat the water. but in recent studying, it appears that SW fish do drink water to compete with osmotic transfer, so could you treat their water?

so then, you could treat SW tanks effectively?
kinda related. do fish that go from FW to SW drink water? cause I would think they have to as adults. why not their whole life....?
