Been offered one as a rescue.... not sure whether I can help or not but am interested to find out more...

so you know what species it is? There are a few that could be called red eye.

I've called guy and asked him. He doesn't know. The red eye is in a 200l tank with 3 fig 8's and a GSP...

Taking on the GSP...

All the target puffer species have red eyes too.

I'd ask for a picture first to be on the safe side
