A shoal of SAPs

Hi
As I've posted elsewhere I bought 4 little SAPs the other day and I've been reading as much as I can about them.
I've read that they are happy to be kept in groups and my 4 certainly seem to be quite comfortable with each other.
It's got me thinking and I was wondering if anyone keeps them in a decent size group, say 8+, and if they do,how do the fish interact with each other?
I just think they would look fabulous in a decent shoal, and it would be great to see if they interact with each other, form a hierarchy etc.
Has anyone tried this?
I appreciate they would need a decent size tank,I was thinking of a 4'x2'x2'?
