My porc could possibly have cloudy eye...IDk because ive never seen cloudy eye. im pretty sure it is though, On the outside of his eye( the thing that protecs the eye in his head, the glassy part) Looks like glass that hasn't been cleaned in weaks. If someone could post a pic of what cloudy eye looks like on a porc that could help. I would send a pic but i don't have a camera so...And if he has it how do i treat it. Ive been doing 50% water changes almost 2 times a day because the tank is not yet fully cycled so the nitrites are a little high.

Here are 2 pictures of Porcupine Puffers. One has the cloudy eye and the other has a healthy eye. Natural iridescence in the eye is normal and a sign of a healthy puffer.

surely a porc in a non cycled tank is the worst possible situation.
Doing constant WC on a saltwater tank has got to be risky... any fluctuations in the SG, PH, Temp and your puffs going to get even more stressed...
How come your porc is in an uncycled tank? Do you have live rock in there...?
Keep up the water changes but be absolutely spot on with your PH, SG, and Temp. Add the new water very slowly each time....
and hope it cycles fast!
Good luck.

My porc looks like the bottom picture...it has the green incondecent look to it, thanks alot for the pic that helps and takes a load off lol. My porcs tank is done cycling now, actually the nitrite went to zero just like a cpl hours ago. The other thing i didn't have time to include in my last post was something me and crazedpuffer were talking about for a while now and still cant figure out. my porc has a internal bulge on his right side by his anus. He is not showing signs of illness at all really, I have never owned a porc before so I wouldn't catch any big irregularity that a porc would show, But i have had puffers before and it seems to act like one just a little bit more clumsy. No outside signs on the bulge all internal, its been there since day one and i have had him for a weak now and it hasnt progressed or gotten worse at all...Im stumped. other then that he will only except shrimp and muscles if i hold them in the water for him , he will only eat live foods with no help, he has a clown fish in his tank and hasn't botherd it yet, I'm working on setting up his new home and plan to get another clown fish when that tank is all done. and this goes to crazedpuffer, I plan on getting an all in one sump...$560 lol and its made for a 120 gallon tank, I think its a 40 gallon sump or something. And when i said i was going to have my porc all alone in my 74 he thought i was crazy, he said that only one? Thats a big tank for only one lol, and i said that the people on the forums i post on say thats to small lol.

Lol that last sentance seems dumb, I must have deleted some of what i said by accident. I meant to say when I told the owner of my LFS that i was having just one porc in a 75 gallon he thought i was nuts. And he also said that his buddy back in the day had 4 of them in a 150 gallon, wow is that insane.
