can ceylons and burrfish be kept togethor?

Theoretically, it's possible, but I wouldn't with my ceylons. They tend to bite everything, and those spikes would probably be too tempting to not nibble at.

Certainly don't occur together in the wild but then so do not many of my other fish combos.

so basically its possible just doesnt happen very often?

In the wild, they never occur together.
It could be done in captivity though.
