I know I haven't been around for a while and this may've slipped past me but has this fish been reclassified?

Also they are much more common now (at least in the UK) so are many people keeping them?

Perhaps you can help clear up the differences between Leiurus and Cambodgiensis then?

Also, why can I not find any info on Leiurus in the PufferPedia? Does no one own a specimen or is it not imported?
I've studied many lists coming out of Thailand all claiming to have both species yet every "cambodgiensis" people have bought is always ID'd as Leiurus...

One of the main differences of leiurus and cambodgiensis is the transition of the back to the belly. It is very sharply bordered in cambodgiensis.

Another feature of cambodgiensis are 3 bold black marks at the chin, which are absent or if present are very faint on leiurus (Information from Roberts ('98): Freshwater fugu or pufferfishes of the genus Tetraodon from the Mekong basin..., which is the paper in which barbatus (now cambodgiensis) was described).

It is imported, not often, but it is... see the thread referred to above.

Cambodgiensis is traded, too, see Sean's specimen e.g., this is a real one.

Ok so its the transition from back to belly and the black marks on the chin.
