feeding fahaka live?

just wondering when i can start feeding my fahakas live crabs and such.all they have been eating sofar is red worms. i want to feed them a red crab they are smaller than the fahakas.but these fahakas of mine are only about an inch and a half,dont want them to get hurt.i think they can take them though, they are agresive with their food.should i give it a go or just weight till they get bigger?

Can I confirm that you have more than one fahaka? I really hope they are not in the same tank as once they mature and develop a territorial nature you could have a bloodbath from what I've heard. Although its hard to tar all puffers of the same species with the same brush the fahakas are reliably very aggressive in defending their territory. Of course if they are in seperate tanks then that's fine

As for the feeding try cockles in the shells if you wat to give them the crunch factor or if you remove the clkaws from the crabs it will be fine
