puffer with Poecilia sphenops?

hello puffers.
I'm currenty cycling a brackish tank and have put in two
Poecilia sphenops. so my question is, has anyone any experience with this fish in a tank together with puffers? in a week or two I'll get two
Chelonodon patoca (Milkspotted puffer) back from their "asylum" at our good helper.
had the CPs in freshwater with plenty of other fish and it went ok: no nipping or hunting at all, so it will be exiting to see how the CPs goes along with Molly in brackish waters...

It really depends on what kind of puffer you get. I know there are several people that have these with Figure 8 puffers.

They will get pretty big eventually no? No experience with them. Let us know how it goes in your tank.

Pretty fish but I have never had any either.

You are cycling your tank with fish? You'd be much better off doing a fishless cycle. If you use fish, not only is it extremely harmful to the fish but you will produce only enough bacteria in the tank to support just those fish, not the puffer you add to the tank.

I have housed Mollies together with both GSPs and F8s.

Maybe you can try, but you'll be running a risk... because even though we know one puffer's behavior, we can't trust them!
I never had any success to keep my F8 along 4 BBGs, he ate them!
But a lot of people could do it. Guppies swim fast.. but puffers too! Sorry if I'm confusing you, it's not my intention
And listen to Pufferpunk, 'cause you'll need a good bacterial filtration to process you puffer's bioload that is much more than guppies'. Think about it... fishless cycle is easy to handle and you'll feel much more secure to add your puffer(s)!
