Check out the Pufferpedia here (under the Learn tab). It is under the Freshwater puffer section. Minimum tank size is 30 gallons.

IMO, a 20 long should do nicely.

Well, judging by the video with the congo eating another fish, I'm going to say no. :P

And if one only needs a 20 gal. long with some extra filtration, I'm SERIOUSLY going to consider getting one after I manage to get my F8 (which is another story all together). :?

Yes agnate get one they are so awesome. And you probably could throw another puffer in there but I would do some research. And have another tank on standby. I would try a South american puffer. They are cute and sweet. Congo puffers are very slow. lol Aurora waits till the fish practically swims in her mouth before attempting to grab it. So a fish that is fast should have no problem living with them.

The Congo would kill the poor sweet SAP before it hit the water. Congos are killers! They are ambush predators that lay in wait under the sand to quickly swoop up & eviscerate it's prey. This is why their eyes are situated on top of their head, instead of on either side, like other puffers & it has an upswooped mouth for good aim at the bellies of their prey. Don't let their general sedentary posture fool ya!

I would like to get a Congo someday, but honestly it's not on the top of my list.

My top two are a Burrfish and SAP's =]
