White Spotted Puffer (A. Hispidus)

Okay, so my gf REALLY wants the White Spotted Puffer we saw at our LFS for the last few visits. I was wondering if he'd be okay in a 125g setup for a while? I know they need about 200+, but he's only about 3 inches right now.
I guess my real question is how fast do puffers grow? If he outgrows a 125g in 3 months or something, then I'll have a problem, but if it will take 1-2 years, then its doable (as we can upgrade later).
Thanks for the info, in advance!

They don;t grow that fast.
If he's 3 inches he should be fine, just make sure you'll be ready to upgrade in the semi-near future.

Indeed!
Can you cycle a saltwater tank with a Biospera of sorts, or is there a better way to cycle a marine tank (ie. with live sand and rock)?

Hopefully we'll be able to get our hands on a 125 gallon and get the White Spotted Puffer!
Do you have any pictures of him up, Chin?

Turns out we can't seem to make room for a 125g tank right now, mainly due to the fact that we share a house with a bunch of people who don't like aquariums. *Sigh*
Looks like we'll just have to wait!
