I didnt want to hi jack the thread so I mad eone. I previously owned a breeding pair of Tetraodon cutcutia and now own a male and a female.
Not so long ago I posted a message asking why my puffers tail had started to go red / pink. Well I have my answer now thanx to the post titled "Tetraodon cutcutia" they are reaching sexual maturity at a size of 2.5 inches. Recently there has been alot of puffing and little chases no snuggling yet though lol.

BTW I was told these were a male and female but how would I sex them. Please post any information you have regarding this species of fish.

One of the TPF members had a breeding pair. Was it Pufferpack?

My female always appeared to be fatter than the male, even after eating....only way I was sure was I watched her lay eggs.
