Feeding miurus silversides?

Okay, my congo is like the pickiest eater of all my puffers. Heck, of all my fish.
He will eat bloodworms, some livebearers (don't worry, I raised them myself), and maybe a snail or two... but there are tons of ramshorns cruising all over his tank so I'm not even sure about the snails. I'm tricked him into nibbling on krill, shrimp, and muscle meat, but he only takes one bite before refusing to eat more.
He's even turned his snout up at live blackworms!
So tonight I was feeding some of my marine fish silversides and tossed a small head in to see if my congo would eat it. He gobbled it down!
So my question for our wonderful experts is:
Since this guy is somewhat of a piscivore, are silversides (frozen) okay or are they the wrong type of nutrition for a freshwater miurus? He's so picky anything different in his diet would be wonderful!
