well i could use some help. i have a 55gal set up with a lg pecosumus,baby pecos and a few small malawi cichlids.my 125gal currntly holds my two 3-3inch arrowhead puffers and my 150gal has my 5inch manganese/jaguar cichlid.well i wanna move my new fahaka to the 125 or the 150.i just dont now how to move these fish around,without getting rid of some. the fahaka is just an inch so putting him with the jaguar is out of the question and the arrowheads are still some what small so i do't now about putting them with the jag, i cannot put any of my puffers with the malawi cichlids.
maybe i could put my small pleco,5 malawi cichlids, in my 20 gal? my big 10inch pleco in the 150 with jagger.and my arrowheads in the 55gal and my fahaka can go into te 125gal? any suggestions?

wow! well adding my big pucasumus to the 150 with mcjagger oar adding any other fish is outta the question.as soon as i put the pucasumus witch is bigger than the jaguar ciclid in the tank mcjagger was just not having it. he harassed and bulled the poor pacasumus so i put him back in the 55 asnd added stability. the pacasumus has some skin missing on a few places were the jag got him.truthfully i watched for the 30min i had him in ther and it must have happend really fast or i missed the bitting, but well mcjagger has his own 150 i guess.

Wow, that's one mean fish! How big is the fahaka? Why didn't you think this all out before buying it? Where is it now?

well the jag was mine scince it was a baby but its been at my sisters place for the last 5 months, so i just got him back cause the bigest tank she has is a 100 gal, the other cichlids are going to my sisters tonight!so that just leaves me with the two arrows the fahaka,jag,and the big {labowski} pleco yes i wish the jag would leave the pleco alone,so i would not have to take him to the fish store.

Which is going to the store, the Jag or pleco?

well the jag will stay with me.scince i had him scince he was tiny i wanna keep him. the pleco will probably be taken to the fish store.scince i gave my sister my cichlids all i have now is my puffers and my jag.the Arrowhead Puffers will get up 2 4-6inches from what i read.so they will be housed in a 55gal soon and ill get another 40-55gal just in case i have 2 seperate when they mature.i wanna get rid of my smaller 10,20 gal tank and stands.ill just have 55's125 and 150.so maybey i have it worked out.and on the pignose/arrowheads i posted a q here about them tonight and red that they Low degree of intraspecific aggression?so that means that they could be housed together,right? my fahaka is my fav i would have to say he is active and is fun to watch

Depends on the individual puffer, I guess. I highly doubt 2 males will play well together. I think the best person to ask about that is Rocker, since he's had such great sucess breeding them. Are they big-time swimmers? I think a 55g for is a lot of space for 1 puffer that stays burried most of the time (at least my miurus does).
