About a week ago I was in my LFS with my wife when she spotted three SAP's looking lonely in a tank and she was amazed by the way they followed her fingers around the glass.
Needless to say she demanded I rearrange my tanks to accomodate them! I now have three SAP's in what was my large community tank (180litres). I have been trying to feed them but so far they have just nibbled at the bloodworm fed to them. I have been feeding snails and they enjoy picking them off the glass but is there anything else to feed them as I am quickly running out of snails in my tank!!
I have DP's in another tank and they love bloodworm so I have never had to find out other foods.

OK thanks for that have read the list.

Should I finely cut foods such as crab and earthworms or is it better to put in a larger amount and just remove excess when they are full? Any benefits to either way?
its just they are quite small about 1" at the minute

I'd cut it up somewhat--not necessarily to bite-sized though.

I find with my SAPs that they aren't that clever at noticing when I put the food in, as they are so busy watching me through the glass. So I move my finger (without the food) about in the water to get their attention and then put a few bloodworms in, and then carry on repeating until they have nice fat little bellies!

Thaknyou for that I will give it a try as mine also just watch me but they do pick at the bloodworm at the bottom.
