I was looking at my fahaka's aquarium today and noticed that on the glass there are some weird looking things. It looks like little white dots and hair line worms that are very small moving around.I have no idea where they came from but im guessing that they are very bad. I was just wondering how can I eliminate them without harming my puffer? should I increase the temp to a certian level? should I add aquarium salt?

water test today:
temp: 79 - 80 f
ammonia - 0
nitrite - 0
nitrate 20
ph 7.0
kh - 120
gh 30

These are from overfeeding & not vacuming up excess food. How often are you feeding your puffer? Just wipe them off & do a WC to remove.

I feed my puffer like twice daily. I remove any uneatten food 15-30 minutes after feeding him. I do water changes every other day. are they bad for him? will they make him sick? :-(

Didn't someone already tell you your puffer should only be eating every 2-3 days at it's size? It's like 4-5", right?

Like I said, scrape them off & syphon out at your next WC.
