yeah plastic resin ornaments are better, you can glue them to bits of slate if they need to be more secure. Wood rots quite badly in SW aquariums so best to steer clear of that

Glue for what?

get some aquarium safe silicone and it'll do the trick. otherwise, superglue gel is ok too.

Don't bother to repair the lace rock, it'll just continue to break.
