Open wound at mouth area

Dear all,
Need alot of help, as my puffer has a open wound at the mouth area what should i do?? Do i have to monitor the water parameter closely??

Think it's been rubbing with glass at fish shop before i pick her up.

Melafix added to the tank, good aeration. Treat with Melafix every 2 days after doing a bit of a water change and it should start to heal in no time.

yep do the above and keep the water as clean as you possibly can. It should heal ok as long as the nasties in the tank are kept to a minimum. you could try a vitamin food soak to help with the healing process too
