I understand you guys prefer argonite sand, but how do you guys feel about marine sand for f8?

Marine sand can be any sand safe for use in a marine aquarium, could include argonite, dolomite, fine grain silicate sand, coarse grain silicate sand. I find non-live sand is really, really annoying to keep clean, and avoid it personally. There is no reason you can't use a marine sand in a F8 tank.

I have no problem keeping my sand clean with a regular syphon. The syphons are usually so weak that it sucks up the muck but not much of the sand. I still see some sand in my bucket though after I pour the water out but not much.
