Does anyone know proper buddies for a patoca . I have one which is 3 cm right now. He's residing in a 80 liter tank with some bumblebee gobies , pygmy corydorae and two dwarf puffers of roughly 1 cm , there is also a backswimmer which i haven't seen in a while. The patoca has already in his third day killed a little cory by eating his eyes out , i then proceeded to feed the cory to some bigger biocellatus puffers. it seemed pretty tasty. The evil patoca is now chasing the gobies and the dwarf puffers when he crosses them Its obvious that he needs a new setup with new buddies, he does look healthy though , maybe too healthy. Does anyone have any idea about buddies to whom the patoca would be more tolerant , who whould also be tolerant to the patoca themselves.

Seeing as that puffer gets to be over a foot long, I'd get it it's own big(220 liters or more) tank and see about marine or high brackish tankmates, since it's a coastal fish it might do better with brackish water to marine conditions anyhows long term, fish that tolerate both freshwater and saltwater seem to develop skin problems if they are in pure FW for too long.
