ok so if looked at my other post you will see that my puffers wouldnt eat, we found out that the water wasnt right for god knows what reason, so we've been doing water changes when told by the fish shop owner to sort water out so they will eat. now they seem happy-one fish seems fine- the other is still abit black and his eyes are dark as well. to make matters worse bubbles seem to have stuck to them both and i've looked to see if it was so kind of worm, but they looked more like bubbles, which apparently is the bends? what do i do now? all seems to be goin very wrong, and we are tryin very hard and the horrible thing is we tested this tank and we got the fish shop to test it and yet its still all gone wrong.

There is nothing wrong with bubbles, your fish do not have the bends, LOL.
What were the water parameters?

Could you please repeat the problem you are having--tank mates, tank size, what kind of puffers, etc?

hi, we've got to leopard puffer fish in freshwater. we found out why there not eating as there is ammonia in the water, so were doing small water changes every other day and also using safe start as apparently this live bacteria will help lower the levels. but now we noticed that little bubbles were stuck on their skin, but now we look closer they look more like little white things? they look like they have a thin layer of film on them and it looks like there covered in salt(this strange white stuff) went to fish shop and he didnt have a clue, so now im thinkin they might have a diease? what do u think?

Stop using this stuff! it's only making the problem worse. (dead bacteria adding more bio-load)
Do large water changes instead of small water changes. Find some SeaChem Prime, it will help to detoxify the ammonia/nitrite.
You may also want to look for Bio-Spira, it's the only live bacteria that's proven to work. (It should be refrigerated)

Check in pufferpedia which puffer you actually have, or post a picture and we can tell you. Do large water changes every day. Make sure to add water dechlorinater to it. Only bio-spira will help add bacteria, stop adding the other stuff.
