Just wanted to see if anyone could shed some info for me on my SAP. I got him about 1 month ago, i just fed them ahwile ago, and when i went to check on the tank, it looks like one of his side fins is damaged, the other side is fluttering ok, and he is swimming ok, does not seem to affected by it and he is eating ok. I could see that my Albino chiclid was going at him viciously and chasing him for some reason, so i moved him right away to another tank with my parrot fish.

Does anyone know if his fin will heal in time??

All depends on the damage to be honest, treating with some melafix and pimafix may aid in the healing process and then its just a case of waiting and see.

Just ensure there is plenty of aeration if you treat with them.

Just an update on my little SAP that was a bit hurt.

After removing the culprit, he seems to be much better today, both his side fins are fluttering ok now it seems.

Will keep an eye on him.
