I started up a new tank and the fish just got what looks like Ich. I'm moving them to a hospital tank and all that jazz, but will i have to move the ghost shrimp and snails out of the main tank too? That'd be a pain, so I hope that ich doesn't target them. Thanks.

with a little more research I found that a couple people say ich can only infect fish.

Ich only affects fish. Inverts are safe

I would not say inverts are safe, as there have been many reports of them being carriers.
