Hi guys,

This is the latest update on JJ he still has not eaten the epson salts caused his skin to go blotchy and he has now developed a mark on his side anyone got a clue what this is? Please see photo.

Ok, the problem with the salt is you arent' supposed to feed them to him. Dissolve the salt, 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons, in declorinated water and add it to the tank.

LOL I don't think she fed it to him. I do not recommend that concentrate of ES to a FW fish though. Start with 1 tbsp/10g first & see if that works. You can add the same again the next day (making it a total of 1 tbsp/5g).

I don't see anything concerning about that mark & his skin looks fine.

I didn't feed the salt directly to him I'm not stupid. But as a puffer expert does he still look constipated to you?
