Wow just the difference in color too. He is looking amazing. Glad he has spunked up so well for you and is fattening up nicely!

Well last night I did my weekly water change, then took off to get some info from my old house. Got home and saw Bloat layin on the bottom breathing really hard. I noticed that I forgot to turn my filter back on. So I kicked it on and tossed in a air stone, he just laid on the bottom and was breathing really hard all night. But today he is up and swimming normally. So Ive had my first scare(if it was legit or not is to be seen lol).

Right now he is surfing the glass begging for food

I believe water flow is the #1 most important thing in our aquariums.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Thanks to this site, thats what my thought was. I figured turning it on and getting some more O2, plus the movement the bubbles would cause, would be a good idea

Bloat got his first clam today. At first he just stared it down, not quite sure what to make of it. Since he is use to moving food he just sat there for a while, looking at it and looking at me lol. I turned away for a min turn back and he had sucked down the whole thing LOL

Some puffers love to do that. I was fooled by my GSP when I bought her. She was my first puffer, and I was nervous she wouldn't eat. I tried to make her take a shrimp, but no. I left the shrimp in a thread, and sat down to write a frustrated question to TPF on my computer, one meter away. While writing, I looked up at my GSP, and there she was attacking the food. As soon as she saw me watching she, got that "I do noooothing" look again. Yes, I was fooled by a fish!
