I prefer to get my fish as babies so I get to watch them grow and know that I had a hand in them living a full healthy life

I'm surprised he's already eating... Lola wouldn't eat after I just switched her to a different tank. Not nearly as traumatic. -_-

Just in case you all are wondering, Luau is doing awesome!! He's picking on my poor nerite snails LOL. I fed him 4 blood worms and two snails this morning, and boy, he eats like a little piglet! He was still poking at the snail, but still LoL. At least their shells are hard and they have trap doors.

I keep trying to get more pics to send to Pufftastic, but he's so busy exploring I never get a clear shot = / Denzil and I were talking about after we find our first house....We are getting a 72 gal bow for the future GSP and Luau will move into the 60 g LoL. (way in the future at this point, but it's nice to think about ^.^) Denzil likes Luau just as much as I do, he just doesn't want to have to clean them LoL

good to hear luau is doing well. F8's are quite a bit like GSP's personality wise from what i have seen, in comparison to other puffers. so if you love F8's, you should be quite happy with a GSP!

Thanks!! He's settling in just nicely and eating very well! He gets super excited when I turn off the filter (at feedings haha, Pufftastic told me that she did that) and I drop bloddworms and crushed up snails LoL. ^.^

Posting up some pics of the little water love of my life LoL. He's so happy now that he's alone in his tank, and I found out that he's been having some expensive meals = / apparently Luau is very proficient at breaking the trap door on the zebra nerite snails = / (on a side note, does anyone know if F8s will tolerate a few Otos? The algae is starting to get out of hand again)

LoL the four that are in there are actually from PZ's tank...I had to get the goldfish out of Luau's tank, but I couldn't trap him with the net (spent hours in front of the tank trying) so Thursday, after school, I had to take EVERYTHING out of the tank to get this goldfish. I thought to myself, while I am at it, let's see where all these nerites are. Well, I only found one, and the other three are completely gone, shells and all. I don't think that Luau could get the shells as well, but I stirred up the substrate, I looked in all the decors, any and every where that I could look, I did. Nothing. So, I am not sure what happened to the other three, but I took the 4 out of PZ's tank, and put them in with Luau (10g with 1 DP, 1 ghost shrimp, 4 nerites and 3 otos was waaay overstocked) so far, he's been ignoring them, but I did see a busted trap door on one of them today >< I was like "darnit!" LoL.

Also, I had zebra nerites, seven recommended olive nerites, but my LFS didn't have any. Seven noted that the olives' shells are different from zebras. Maybe if you find olive nerites, you could get a few and try it? LoL if you do that, let me know, please!

What about otos? PZ leaves them alone, anyone know if a F8 will??
