You can always start over with a smaller puffer. Clean out the tank with Oxy-Clean and re-cycle, then give it another shot. :)

That's a good plan. I had a similar thing happen to me, but the people here convinced me to stick around, so I did my research and started over. Now I have two adorable DPs and I know how to care for them. It happened to a lot of us here.

Yeah, don't be discouraged. Puffers are truly amazing.
